Rae Henry is an award-winning artist and writer and a native of Southern Maryland. She fell for fiction and poetry early, seen to a life of reading by her father. After a childhood of believing her career path lies in science, she became a finalist in a national poetry competition in 2017. This sparked a new glow, which she dedicates each day to chasing her dream of telling stories.

 

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) with a degree in writing and minor in creative writing. Now, she lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her pet snake while working as the marketing copywriter for Campus Services at Kennesaw State University.

Rae hopes to one day publish her novels that explore not just the fantastical, but analyses of the world we live in today and the idea that everyone’s story is worth telling.
